A Versatile Synthesis of Linked Cyclodextrins.

-In continuation of an earlier work a more general method for tailor-made cyclodextrin-dimers starting from amino-ฮฑ-and/or ฮฒ-cyclodextrins by the reaction of activated diacids with different chain lengths in moderate to good yields is presented.
