A Palladium-Catalyzed Carbonylative Route to Primary Amides.
-The Pd-catalyzed carbonylation of various aryl and vinyl iodides and triflates with carbon monoxide in the presence of hexamethyldisilazane yields the corresponding carbonic amides after acidic hydrolysis.
