## Abstract A novel symmetric dimeric compound, cavalerol (**1**), was isolated from the 95% EtOH extract of the twigs of __Eurycorymbus cavaleriei.__ Compound **1** contains an unprecedented dimeric skeleton with two identical chiral meroterpene moieties.
