Abstract

The reaction of aminobenzophenones (I) with benzylic amines (II) in the presence of a new heterogeneous catalyst based on CuO nanoparticles and tert‐butyl hydroperoxide as oxidant leads to the desired quinazolines (III) (28 examples) in moderate to high yields.
