of the title compound are prepared by chemical vapor transport of a 1:1 mixture of PrOCl and Nb 2 O 5 with NH 4 Cl as transport agent (950β†’900 β€’ C, 3 d). The compound crystallizes in the hexagonal space group P62c (Z = 2). The structure is closely related to that of Cu 5
