✦ Synopsis
A New Open-Framework Indium Phosphate-Phosphite Containing Intersecting Extra-Large 16-Ring Channels. -The new open-framework compound (H2mpd)3[In9(H2O)6(HPO3)13(H2PO3)2 (PO4)(HPO4)] (mpd: 2-methyl-1,5-pentanediamine) is hydrothermally synthesized from a mixture of InCl3, H3PO3, and mpd as the structure-directing agent (H2O, 180 °C, autoclave, 7 d; 39% yield). The compound crystallizes in the hexagonal space group P6 3 /m with Z = 6 (single crystal XRD) and presents a unique pillar-layer framework topology containing three-dimensional intersecting extra-large 16-ring channels. -(DONG, Z.;
