✦ Synopsis

A New Anti-HBeAg Lignan, Kadsumarin A, from Kadsura matsudai and Schizandra arisanensis.

-In a continuous study the lignan derivative (I), named kadsumarin A, is isolated from the ethanol extract of the dried stems of the title plant. The stereochemistry of (I) is examined by CD-spectra.
