A New Access to Spiro-isoxazolines Derivatives.
-A new one-step procedure is presented for the synthesis of title compounds by treating the corresponding tricarbonyl substrates [cf. (IV) and (VI)] with hydroxylamine hydrochloride. The same reaction of the trione (VIII) provides the isoxazole (X) as main product.
