## Abstract magnified image A series of 1,4‐pyranonaphthoquinone derivatives were synthesized __via__ the reaction of arylidenemalononitrile and 2‐hydroxynaphthalene‐1,4‐dione in the mixed solvent of N,N‐dimethylformamide and glacial acetic acid (HOAc) under microwave irradiation without catalyst.
