-Novel pyrimidinone derivatives (VII) (S-DABO) are synthesized and tested for their reverse transcriptase inhibitory activity as well as their anti-HIV activity. The computational approach allows the identification of ligand derivatization sites for the generation of more potent S-DABO derivatives.
