Abstract
Electron‐rich aryl dichlorovinyl ethers like (I), (Xa) and (Xc), obtained from phenols and trichloroethylene, readily undergo one‐pot Suzuki cross coupling—cyclization to give 2‐arylbenzofuran derivatives in good yields.
