✦ Synopsis

1-Phenyl-4(1H)-quinazolinones and 2,3-Dihydro-1-phenyl-4(1H)quinazolinones as Potential Cholecystokinin Receptor Ligands.

-With a view to their potentially interesting pharmacological activities the title compounds such as (VI), (IX), and (XI) are prepared. These structures show a good overlap in a computer modeling study with a known compound. Among all obtained derivatives compound ( VI) shows a moderate affinity towards the cholecystokinin-B receptor, whereas in the other series such as compound (IXa) a weak but higher affinity towards the cholecystokinin-A receptor is generally observed. -(
