✦ Synopsis

The reactions of boron with 02 and NzO hive been studied in a beam-experiment_ Chemihmkescence is detected eniy from the B + 02 reaction for which the total chemiluminescent cross section is estimated to be 0.05 A2. Relative pop ul;ttions of vibntional levels sod cross sections for their formation have also been obtained.

## Abstract We report on the gas phase reactions of small Fe^+^~__n__~ clusters (__n__ = 2–10) with O~2~, N~2~O and CO~2~ in an FT‐ICR mass spectrometer. Under our experimental conditions, clusters of all sizes reacted readily with O~2~ and all but the dimer reacted with N~2~O. Only the smallest Fe
