A chemdummescence flow-mjectlon method mvolvmg Schlff base formation was studied for the determmatlon of prnnary ammo acids Sodium bls(2-ethylhexyl)sulphosuccmate reversed mlcelles effectively medlated Schlff base formation with phenylacetaldehyde and a-ammo acids The acceleration of Schlff base formation was dependent on both the water-to-surfactant ratto m the reversed mxellar solutlon and the hydrophobxlty of the ammo acids The detection limits were l-130 pmol and the dynamic range was lo4
