The chemical desodiation of non-doped and vanadium-doped sodium thiochromites has been studied. The changes in the chemical composition and X-ray diffraction patterns during desodiation of the stoichiometric compound reveal that the vanadium-doped thiochromite can be more effectively desodiated.
