β¦ Synopsis
A review is given of molecules that may exhibit observable structural or electronic changes at accessible pulsed magnetic fields. There is an emphasis on structural changes that modulate the ultravioletαvisible spectrum. Transition-metal dimers with quadruple bonds are recommended for testing in magnetic fields on the order of 1000 Tesla.

## Abstract The effects of magnetic fields produced by permanent magnets on different DNA sources were investigated in vivo and in vitro. __Escherichia coli__ DNA, plasmid, and amplification products of different lengths were used as the magnetic field target. The in vivo assays did not reveal any
Hemolymph samples from adult bees that had completed their pupal development and emergence in a 7 Tesla field contained a lower percentage of glucose than controls, indicating that trehalase enzyme activity in honey bees is reduced in strong magnetic fields. Significantly more phospholipids were fou
