✦ Synopsis
It is now more than twenty-five years since M. Lecat showed the intensity of his interest in azeotrophy by publishing a monograph on the subject, with experimental data and a bibliography-and this is the Belgium of 1918! Since then, the matter has become of increasing importance, and in I932 the author issued a more extended bibliography, which in the present work is continued to I942. The number of patents listed indicates the value of the subject in its technical applications, notably in the production of absolute alcohol and in the dehydration of acetic acid. Research workers will be glad to find that the present volume follows the convenient form of that of 1932 , the references being printed on one face of the leaf only, leaving the other blank for additional entries, and all interested in the field will undoubtedly find this compilation most helpful.
