## Abstract The problem of overly high contents of remnant monomers (free phenol and free formaldehyde) in phenolic foam was studied. Free phenol was characterized by iodimetry, and free formaldehyde was characterized by a hydroxylamine hydrochloride method. The effect of the phenol/formaldehyde mo
