The essential oil from the leaves of Chenopodium ambrosioides exhibited antimycotic activity against the dermatophytes Trychophyton rnentagrophytes and Microsporum audouinii, at a concentration of 50 ppm. Its nature was fungicidal and it exhibited a broad antimycotic spectrum against dermatophytes.
