The Dow Chemical Co, based in Midland, MI, has launched Ecosurf SA biodegradable nonionic surfactants. Attributes of the Ecosurf SA include superior wetting, rapid dynamic surface tension reduction and rapid dissolution. It is suitable for pigment wetting and stabilization.

Kenrich Petrochemicals Inc, based in Bayonne, NJ, has unveiled the Ken-React KR TTS-Titanate Coupling Agent, which is soluble in isopropyl alcohol, xylene, and toluene at concentrations less than 5%. The product is also soluble in DOP and mineral oil and can be made water soluble via emulsification using a variety of surfactants.
