The formation of collagen fibrils in poly(vinyl alcohol) (PVA) and in poly(vinyl pyrrolidone) (PVP) was investigated using Atomic Force Microscopy (AFM). The water solutions of PVA and PVP containing 1%, 3% and 5% of collagen were cast onto glass plate. After slow solvent evaporation thin polymeric
