Electrochemical behaviors of niobium sulfides suchas 3R-Nb, + . 52 (x 0.25), 2H-NbS2 and NbS, for lithium batteries are investigated in I M LiC1O 4 -propylene carbonate solution . The cathodic reaction in the charge-discharge cycle of the disulfides is shown as follows :
