✦ Synopsis

The single particle distributions were measured for two channels of e+e---+W+W -events at 172 GeV where (a) both Ws decay hadronically and (b) where one W decays hadronically and the other one leptonically. The single particle distributions show an excess of charged particles at low xp, rapidity and transverse momentum in the fully hadronic decay channel compared to the mixed hadronic and leptonic decay channel.
