Static quenching (T=77K) of luminescence of naphthalene derivatives via CT complexes in solid state with tetracyanoethylene has been studied. The linear correlation between the logarithm of K quenching constant and 1 Q CT frequency in electronic absorption spectra of CT complexes has been observed. Equilibrium constants of complex formation Kc and other thermodynamic functions of CT complexes have been determined. It is shown that the linear correlation occurs between KQ and Kc.
