The effective interaction for the spin-singlet Cooper pairs is calculated using the two-dimensional d-p model for high-To cuprates on the basis of a renormalized perturbation of the Fermi liquid: first forming the quasiparticles variationally by the Gutzwiller approximation, then treating the residu
