✦ Synopsis
A simple sequence in which =C precessions are allowed to develop with proton coupling for a period of 1/2 'J(CH) s before initiating decoupling and acquisition allows the determination of vicinal carbon-hydrogen coupling constants to facilitate the characterization of trisubstituted double bonds. The experiment is illustrated by studies of atraconic anhydride and limonene.
