β¦ Synopsis
The interposition of a thin-metal buffer between the anode and active layers of an organic light emitting diode (OLED) can significantly improve hole injection. Experimental results of devices using silver, gold, and gold-palladium layers are presented and correlated to their respective work functions. A significant reduction in resistivity was observed with a silver buffer layer in a bilayer OLED device.

## Abstract In this work the authors have studied the advantages of using electrochemically deposited molybdenum oxide as a buffer layer in an organic bilayer heterojunction solar cell arrangement. Furthermore, it has been probed that electrochemistry provides an alternative low cost, reproducible
