Single sinus venosus cells from frog, Rana esculenta, were isolated using an enzymic dispersion procedure, involving applications of collagenase and protease. About 40% -60% of the cells showed spontaneous contractions. Isolated cells were studied in the wholecell configuration. Regenerative action
