## Abstract Four supported metallocene catalysts were synthesized directly on silica [Si(CpZrCp), Si(CpZrInd), Si(IndZrCp), and Si(IndZrInd)]. The first ligand was chemically tethered to silica (internal ligand) while the second was free from silica (external ligand). The polymerization of ethylene
