โฆ Synopsis
The ten isomeric naphthalene dicarboxylic acids have been prepared using standard methods, and the u&violet absorption spectra of these acids in water have been obtained. The spectra and molar extinction coefficients can serve to characterize these acids, which may be found in the products of the oxidative degradation of coal.

The 10 isomeric naphthalene dicarboxylic acids have been eluted from a column of Dowex 1 anion exchange resin using potassium bromide O-l M.
