✦ Synopsis

Abstract

The characterization of a monolithic spiral inductor (MSI) by using a multilayer neural network approach is presented in this Letter. The inductance, physical, and geometrical parameters are extracted in order to perform a full characterization of MSI. A three‐layer neural network was used for accurate representation. The results obtained by using neural networks are compared with measured S parameters of typical MSI. Β© 2002 Wiley Periodicals, Inc. ## Abstract An efficient method based on the wave concept introducing a Fast Fourier Transformation on the wave‐guide environment Mode Fast Fourier Transformation (MFFT) for the investigation of a micro‐strip spiral inductor is presented in this paper. This method is used to calculate __S__‐paramet
