โœฆ Synopsis

Abstract

The bulk organic single crystal of phthalic anhydride (PA) was grown by vertical Bridgman technique. The structural perfection of the grown crystal was analysed by high resolution Xโ€ray diffraction (Multicrystal Xโ€ray diffractometry) studies. The thermal and mechanical properties have been studied. The second harmonic generation relative efficiency of Phthalic anhydride crystal is compared with KDP crystal. ## Abstract Acoustoโ€optical materials play an important role in acoustoโ€optic devices as acoustoโ€optic modulators. Lead(II) chloride is an acoustoโ€optical material, having high figure of merit approximately ten times greater than that of lead molybdate, which is an efficient acoustoโ€optical materia
