Five glucosinolates have been examined by collision activation of IM -H Jproduced by fast atom bombardment.

The resultant daughter ion spectra contained a number of peaks that could be rationalized in terms of the known structure of the glucosinolates and in particular the nature of non-polar side-chain could be determined.

A mass spectrometric method based on the combined use of fast-atom bombardment (FAB), collisioninduced dissociation (CID) and linked scanning at constant B/E has been used for the analysis of the fragmentation behavior of protonated 3-methoxyflavones (3-MFs). It is shown that several diagnostic ions
