## Abstract The performance of a timeβdivisionβmultiplexed fiber Bragg grating sensor array that uses a tunable laser source has been investigated. It was found that the wavelength detection accuracy is affected by the extinction ratio of the optical pulse modulator used for input pulse generation.

## Abstract The effect of spectral shadowing and multiple reflections in a serial fiber Bragg grating (FBG)βarray are investigated. The wavelength detection errors for the distal FBG (reflectivity = 1%) in a 50βFBG array are 18 pm and 12 pm for spectral shadowing and multiple reflections, respectiv
## Abstract We propose a new system of the multiplexed sensors using a series of fiber Bragg gratings (FBGs), where the gratings separation lengths, Bragg wavelength, dip length, and birefringence can be configured as the sensing information. The transmission spectrum of a dual fiber Bragg gratings
In this paper, an adapti¨e array algorithm is presented to minimize linear crosstalk in high-speed WDM systems. The algorithm is based on the optimum and the decision-directed algorithm added to the test signal sequences and sampling process. In transmitting data, the speed of algorithm processing r
