โœฆ Synopsis

In a study aimed at quantitative characterization of coals, the complex permittivity of non-demineralized coals was measured at variable frequency (5-10' Hz) and temperature (22%380 K). The results show that the polarization conductivity follows a law of the type G'(w)=A&. This shows that there is a hopping conductivity process between localized sites. These sites could be basic structural units (BSU) forming organized microdomains.

This work shows that the parameters calculated from the experimental results differ according to the origin of the coal.

## Abstract The noncontact evaluation and characterization of liquids, especially chemically active reagents, is a problem for many industries, and currently there is no method available to characterize such liquid samples. In this paper, we present the results of the noncontact measurement and cha
