✦ Synopsis


The presence and behaviour of free radicals in the composite lignin/polypropylene films upon heating were studied by electron spin resonance spectroscopy. The variations of free radical concentration with the proportion of lignin in the composites indicate the radical character of the interaction between paramagnetic sites of the lignin and polypropylene.
