More Than 200 natural gas samples from Carboniferous, Permian, and Triassic reservoirs in Northern Germany were studied to determine their nitrogen content and isotope values. The nitrogen content varied from l-88 ~01% and the 6"N values varied between -3.2 and +19.3%.
