Abstract
Patients treated with murine monoclonal antibodies develop antiβmouse immunoglobulin antibodies which can interfere with flow cytometry of lymphocytes, giving rise to high levels of nonβspecific staining. This artefact can be avoided by using separated, washed lymphocytes for immunophenotyping.
