โฆ Synopsis
Irradiation effects of 2.5MeV He + ion, 2.SMeV O + ion, 2.5MeV Ni z+ ion and 1MeV Ar + ion were studied on thin films of high-T c oxide superconductor YBa2Cu3Ox(YBCO ). In high fluence region, superconductivity and crystal structure were degraded by irradiation. Critical fluence, which is the fluence giving 0.1% increase in c-axis lattice constant was found to vary with the kind of incidental ions. In the irradiation of the four kinds of ions, the critical fluence had a tendency to decrease with increase in mass of ions.
