## Abstract We evaluated the protective effects of gallic acid (3,4,5‐trihydroxybenzoic acid) on hepatic lipid peroxidation products, antioxidants, glycoprotein components, and lipids in streptozotocin‐induced type II diabetic rats. To induce type II diabetes, rats were injected with streptozotocin
