✦ Synopsis

In relation to the study of interactions between food and coated aluminium cans, structural features of a vinylic organosol were studied by electron spin resonance, using amino-oxyls as probes. Two transitions could be observed which were assigned to the poly(vinyl chloride) (PVC) and the epoxy phases. The inÑuence of contact of simulants on the coating was studied using the spin probe method, by monitoring both migration into the liquid and the transition temperatures.
