AIMS OF CONFERENCE

An understanding of the molecular and biological mechanisms involved in the differentiation of stem cells in development is of crucial importance to the analysis of the malignant state and therapeutic approaches to treatment. The purpose of this meeting is to bring together leading experts in the general area of stem cell biology in order to encourage discussion of common mechanisms underlying stem cell function in health and disease.
