Fuel Cells Bulletin 5 solution has been developed for the bikes 'in cooperation with a manufacturer of hydrogen storage systems.' Initially, fleets of 10 or more bikes will be delivered to municipal and commercial providers, 'guaranteeing the supply of hydrogen and servicing for the vehicles,' the company says.
Masterflex has been collaborating with Swiss firm Swizzbee [FCB, November 2004] and Veloform of Germany [FCB, June 2004] on the development of fuel cell bikes for personal and cargo transport, respectively.
