✦ Synopsis
It is shown that the Cesbro method of summing a series can be used to sum the non-convergent series resulting from t?Le differentiation of a Pourier series representation of a function with a discontinuity.
This procedure is contrasted with Lanczos method of a-factors.
The method is then applied in the solution of a standard boundary-value problem in electrostatics.

## Abstract Edge representations of operators on closed manifolds are known to induce large classes of operators that are elliptic on specific manifolds with edges, cf. [11]. We apply this idea to the case of boundary value problems. We establish a correspondence between standard ellipticity and el
