Twenty-five cases of squamous cancer of the hypopharynx and cervical esophagus treated with laryngopharyngoesophagectomy and pharyngogastric anastomosis are presented. In all cases the lesion was such that a complete circumferential pharyngectomy was necessitated. Twelve patients had received full r
