✦ Synopsis

A rich variety of patterns of convection flow including two examples of phase turbulence are found in a Rayleigh-BΓ©nard layer made slightly anisotropic in the horizontal plane by the presence of a horizontal axis of rotation. Results obtained from analytical as well as numerical studies can be compared with experimental observations.
