The Northern Dura Series relies on a number of design features and materials. These include: a stainless steel construction which is corrosion resistant and allows for water clean-up; self-lubricating carbon graphite bearings which are able to handle solvents, water, thin materials; Teflon packing; non-metallic (PEEK) composite gears which resist corrosion and operate smoothly;, a flexible design and modular construction; and close tolerance/metering offering minimal pulsations and agitation with variable flow rates to meet exact process needs.

The pumps in the series work with resins, adhesives, water, cosmetics, paints, oils, fuels, pharmaceuticals, coatings, emulsions, polymers, pigments, minerals, photo-chemicals, vitamins and a wide range of solvent-and waterbased formulations.
