This paper suggests a format for cc#nducting case studies on the issues of certtrahzation and d:centralization in the context of MIS. The problems are stated, evidence presented :Ind. questions are posed for which operational measures of I:he variables have been presented. It is hoped that many organizations will be motivated to perform such case analyses in order to generate a body of dara on these issues.
