Sulfonation and amination of polysulfone (PSf) were performed in this study to improve the hydrophilicity of PSf membranes. The sulfonated polysulfone (SPSf) and aminated polysulfone (APSf) membranes with a higher degree of reaction exhibited a higher water flux and worse mechanical strength than th
