A generic strategy for the fabrication of highly fl uorescent poly(DL-lactide-co-glycolide) nanoparticles loaded with conjugated polymers is reported by B. Liu et al. This method may serve to produce a new generation of biocompatible, surface-functionalizable probes for targeted cancer cell imaging and diagnostics.
